Lars Nagel is CEO of the International Data Spaces Association with 140+ global members since its foundation in 2016. He is also a member of the Executive Board of Digital Hub Management GmbH, where he manages innovation and technology transfer. He has been a member of the first board of directors of Gaia-X AISBL and held the role as COO in the first year, furthermore, he is a member of various advisory boards of European research projects. Previously, Lars founded and led GlobalGate, a provider of corporate education programs with blended learning courses for industrial and economic content based on a digital learning platform. Lars graduated at the Technical University of Dortmund with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Lars’ main fields of work are innovation management, network engagement and technology transfer – always with a focus on digital, complex systems and data economy.

Javier Valiño graduated in Telecommunications Engineering with a double major (Telematics and Radiocommunications) from the University of Cantabria in 2007. He developed his Final Project in the field of point source detection in collaboration with the Plank project of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the physics department of the University of Cantabria. He also holds an MBA with a focus on Project Management from IEBS. He worked as a network and systems engineer leading commercial innovation projects related to IoT and 4G/5G (FP7 projects such as EARTH, EXALTED, TALOS or MiWaveS; H2020 projects such as Flex5GWare and Celtic Plus projects such as SHARING and TILAS, acting as project coordinator and obtaining the Celtic Plus Excellence Award,

Driven by a passion for innovation and digital transformation, he leads cutting-edge projects in the field of IDS-based data spaces. As the head of the Spanish Hub of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) and director of the technical secretariat of BAIDATA, he promotes collaboration and the development of innovative solutions in this field.

Marta Rodríguez Arciniega, is a professional with more than 10 years of experience in the world of data. She currently works at Telefónica advising clients on projects related to advanced technologies such as IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance, leading the identification of use cases and defining their implementation adapted to the specific needs of each client. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Deusto Business School, an MBA in Management Development, a Master in AI and Innovation, and the Data Space Fundamentals certification from IDSA.

Dr. Oscar Lazaro is Director of Innovalia. He supported the EC DIH I4MS Programme set up and leads the WEF Advanced Manufacturing HUB (AMHUB), IDSA Hub in Spain. He is board member of the BAIDATA, EIT Digital Spanish CLC and actively engaged with the Data Space Support Centre (DSSC) and Digital Factory Alliance (DFA) activities, from where he led the set-up of the Data Space 4.0 initiative. He is representative of Innovalia in EFFRA, GAIA-X and BDVA. He led EU OpenDEI Think Tank on multilateral Digital Value Chains (DVC).

Head of Innovation Projects at LKS Next, coordinating LKS Next's participation in research projects in both national and European consortia in areas such as AI, IoT, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Edge-Cloud and Data Spaces. Responsible for the Data Spaces Area at LKS Next, he leads the dialogue with Catena-X and manages LKS Next's participation in the development of Eclipse Tractus-X.

Senior Innovation and Technology Manager with more than 20 years of experience leading digital transformation and technological innovation in the industrial and R&D sectors (TECNALIA, VIRTUALWARE, MONDRAGON). Experience in aligning technology strategies with business objectives, managing multidisciplinary teams and driving the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Edge-Cloud and Data Spaces (MONDRAGON-X). Member of the IEC TC65-JWG21, WG 23, WG24 standardisation groups related to reference architectures in manufacturing and the Asset Administration Shell standard, as well as the Spanish Catena-X Hub. Ability to collaborate with senior executives and integrate technology solutions into long-term corporate strategy.

Alberto Román is a technology entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience leading innovative projects in artificial intelligence. He is currently CEO and co-founder of Acuratio, where he develops federated learning solutions that allow organisations to collaborate without compromising their data privacy. These innovations have earned Acuratio the Ángela Ruiz Robles Award from the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in the category of Entrepreneurship in personal data protection. Previously, she founded Mapplas, an app recommendation engine based on location and natural language processing. She is an industrial engineer from the University of Navarra and has extensive experience leading technical teams and developing technological products with global impact.

Arkaitz Carbajo is Director of Innovation and Emerging Technologies at LKS Next GobTech, where he leads digital transformation initiatives aimed at modernising and optimising public services. His work focuses on process automation, the use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, and the deployment of digital platforms (cloud, low/no code), as well as the governance and strategic use of data. It develops projects focused on operational efficiency, improving citizen experience and environmental sustainability. He also promotes public-private collaboration and governance models connected with technology centres, universities and training institutions, where it contributes to the transfer of knowledge and the development of specialised talent in the field of the digital public sector.

Lena Hegel is a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering (ISST), where she manages various projects in the fields of health data platforms and ecosystems, health data spaces, data sovereignty, health applications, and data processing. With her background in medical technology, she forms a link between the technical components and the user perspective. In addition, she focuses on business model development and the sustainability of the data space solutions developed.

Restless and dynamic entrepreneur who, from Igarle, promotes innovative models of relationships between ICT, productivity, and people. A firm believer in the benefits of intercompany cooperation, even in competitive environments. Member of the Board of Directors of numerous companies in the ICT sector. In recent years, he has been actively involved in the Board of Gaia and has chaired its Software Committee. From this position, together with the members of the aforementioned Committee, they have developed an initiative and managed to engage through a project beneficial for each of them, their respective clients, the administrations, and society as a whole. This exciting project, already realized, is called GaiaNet Exchange and is “connecting” other partners, sectors, and communities from the bottom up through interoperability.

As an expert in new technologies and digital ecosystems, Natalia has more than 20 years of experience working with public and private sector organisations in the design and evaluation of public policies and as a digital transformation advisor to governments. Natalia's role at Microsoft as Director of Innovation and Business Development for the Public Sector includes working with governments, universities, companies and start-ups to disseminate business development and capacity building opportunities related to technologies in various sectors.

Graduated in Computer Engineering, Emilio Martín-González is Director of the Tech&Data team at NWorld, with an extensive background in Data&Analytics where he has led business development, strategy and data governance teams in various fields such as the energy sector, industry and hospitality. Previously he was responsible for Big Data, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence and Data Management development teams in both on-premise and cloud-based installations, with end-to-end responsibility from proposal development to proposal management and collaboration with technology partners.

Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Zaragoza (Zaragoza, Spain), MsC in Business Consulting from ICADE (Madrid, Spain) and Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA International). Mario is co-founder and CEO of Anjana Data, a company he founded in 2019 to launch a new Data & AI Governance solution to the market based on an innovative, disruptive and differential approach and that as of today is the only Spanish and Basque company to appear in a Gartner Magic Quadrant for the Data & Analytics categories. In addition, he has been part of the Board of Directors of DAMA Spain for several years and collaborates regularly with several Business Schools, Universities and Startup Acceleration

Michele Iurillo is a renowned Italian consultant, journalist and writer specializing in data management, data governance and agile methodologies. With a consolidated track record in Business Intelligence over the last 15 years, he has worked on the implementation of data strategies in various organizations. He is currently Country Manager of Irion in Spain and Latin America, leading the expansion and adoption of advanced Data Management solutions in the region. He is a founding member of DAMA Spain, a member of DAMA Italy and currently holds the position of VP of Training and Talent at DAMA Spain and is a member of the Board, actively contributing to the development of the discipline of Data Management in the Spanish-speaking world. He holds multiple CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certifications, which attest to his experience and knowledge in data management. He is also the founder of the Data Management Summit (DMS), a leading event in the world of data management, which brings together experts and industry leaders to share knowledge, trends and best practices. Joseba Ruiz is “Data & AI Director” at Inetum Norte, European leader in digital services and technological development, and professor of Analytics and Data Science at ESDEN Business School. He has published in 2024 the book “Data Analytics with Python for Digital Marketing”. Trained as a computer engineer at the UPV-EHU, he also holds several certifications: Applied Data Science programme (MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Master's degree in Big Data & Business Intelligence (University of Deusto) and Master's degree in Digital Marketing and e-commerce (EAE Business School), among others. He has also worked for renowned companies, startups and digital agencies such as Lookiero, Sandbox Group, Woorank, Lin3s, Improving Metrics and the technology group Flexitron.

Architect (UPV-EHU), PLGP (IESE-University of Navarra), and Specialist in European Projects (SOST-CDTI-Brussels). He worked for 20 years at the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz, participating in projects such as the implementation of the tram, the integration of High-Speed Rail, and the drafting of the Sustainable Mobility Plan. He was a member of the Basque Transport Authority (ATE), a board member of the municipal transport company TUVISA, a member of the Board of the TECNALIA Foundation, and a board member of the public company GILSA. He had the privilege of coordinating Vitoria’s activities as the European Green Capital 2012, and his time at the FINNOVA Foundation has given him valuable knowledge of community funds. Antonio J. Jara is CSO and member of the Board of Directors of Libelium. He received his PhD Cum Laude from the University of Murcia, focusing on secure and scalable connection of objects to Internet platforms, and an MBA. He has received awards for his IoT innovation, including the IPSO Alliance Award sponsored by Google. As part of Libelium, he specialises in disruptive and innovative solutions, participating in numerous international projects and events as a speaker, with more than 100 publications and several patents in the IoT domain.

Iñigo Alonso Echevarría is CEO and founder of CLCircular, a Basque startup that transforms food logistics towards more sustainable models through digitalisation. With a solid background in banking, insurance and entrepreneurship, he has driven projects focused on waste reduction and supply chain efficiency, such as Coollogger, specialised in thermal traceability, and Ozeano, focused on fruit preservation. CLCircular develops solutions based on IoT sensors and blockchain technology, with a clear focus on the circular economy. Its model is based on the rental, recovery and reuse of sensors, which monitor temperature, humidity and location in real time during the transport of perishable products. This reduces losses, improves traceability and minimises environmental impact. Unlike buy-and-dispose models, CLCircular's proposal combines sustainability and operational efficiency, reusable and connected devices.

Christian Cobas is the General Director of the Data Office of Castilla-La Mancha, dependent on the First Vice-Presidency of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha. He combines his institutional work with teaching in continuous training programmes of the INEA information system, aimed at professionals of the regional administration. With a solid track record in the field of public sector digitisation, he previously held the position of Head of the e-Government Services Area in the Directorate General for Digital Health of the Regional Ministry of Digitisation of the Community of Madrid. He is a Technical Engineer in Computer Systems and holds a master's degree in Business Administration & Marketing, which has allowed him to develop a technical profile with a strategic vision oriented towards the digital transformation of public administrations.

Dr. Dominik Rohrmus holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for German small and medium enterprises (SME) in the area of industry and healthcare before he joined Siemens in different functions in the field of manufacturing and production development in 2005. In 2009 he founded the company program sustainable production engineering. Since 2013 he was the head of the group that is responsible for shop-floor equipment and standardization of the future for Siemens factories worldwide with execution in a Czeck Republic Siemens Energy factory. Since 2016 Dominik is also CTO of the non-profit and pre-competitive German association Labs Network Industrie 4.0 e.V. (LNI 4.0), fostering the digital transformation for a wide range of industrial sectors with a focus on SME. Since 2021 Dominik was COO of Gaia-X setting up the association for trusted data ecosystems, growing it in one year to 350 members. In 2022 Dominik re-joined LNI 4.0 as its CTO focusing on data ecosystems internationalization as well as testing and verification. Dominik is member of several industry association gremials, the International Manufacturing-X Council and supports the international industrial standardization.

Ioseba A. Villate is an engineer and currently leads the Engineering 4.0 area at GHI Smart Furnaces. His work focuses on applying digital technologies to optimize industrial furnaces. Together with his team, he uses data analysis to develop services that help clients—particularly in the aluminum recycling sector—improve their processes. He has previous experience in automation and data projects at organizations such as Tecnalia, BCAM, and Sacyr.

Pablo Izquierdo is a specialist in logistics and artificial intelligence applied to industry. A Technical Engineer in Telecommunications, he has advanced training in Industrial Maintenance, Computer Science and Business Administration, as well as a Master's Degree in Integral Logistics from the Basque Institute of Logistics and Mobility. He has developed his career in companies such as Philips Ibérica, Arthur Andersen Consulting and Grupo Logístico Urizar, and was owner and manager of ICF Logística. Since 2018, he focuses on AI projects for industry and supply chain at LIS Solutions. He teaches on the IVL's Master's Degree in Integrated Logistics and collaborates with various universities and chambers of commerce. In addition, he is a dangerous goods advisor (ADR) and has conducted logistics studies for several public administrations.
